Adopt a Film is a tax deductible sponsorship opportunity for our award-winning film that tells a powerful and captivating story on a very important issue - the overfilled animal shelters and the daily killing of approximately 5000 animals per day in the US. By adopting the film, you can help expand its reach to your customers, who can then join in making a difference in this urgent cause.
We want to tell you about a unique opportunity using our film to save the lives of rescue companion animals and to set the standard of social responsibility by showing that you care not just about our customers, but also about their pets. And let's face it, statistically 7 out of 10 of your customers have a pet, so this campaign is sure to emotionally connect with them.
But it's not just about emotions, it's about taking action. Our non profit Conscious Humanity is donating 100% of the proceeds from the Ambassador Program to continue to support the education that's necessary for change and to supply the needs of our local animal rescues. Every dollar counts, and we'll be measuring our success not just by the dollars raised, but more importantly by the actual lives saved.
And to make it easy for you to get involved, we'll be providing all the marketing materials you need, including invitation emails, counter signs, and social media posts, to engage your clients and spread the word about this important campaign. You'll even get a customized website to send your customers to and we track your donation progress and viewership.
And don't worry, we've got all the details covered. Once you make your ambassador donation, you'll receive an email that serves as your agreement of what to expect, as well as a donation receipt for tax purposes.

A Rescue Story, addresses the problem of unnecessary companion animal euthanizations in the United States every year. (ASPCA) This is principally caused by the over-crowding of traditional shelters, the under-funding of traditional shelters, along with those shelters being required (often by law) to take animals, the lack of outlets for animals who are struggling to find homes, the difficulty placing animals with special needs, and lack of time, resources, and raining in traditional shelters to overcome these needs, and by people acquiring animals from pet stores / puppy mills instead of adopting a rescue. In the film we show that there are many solutions to this national issue. We educate the audience by showing how increasing funding for traditional shelters when possible can make a huge difference. Not only that, but organizations can encourage training shelter employees to deal with troubled animals, making them easier to adopt. We also encourage people to adopt animals from shelters, rather than turning to breeders and puppy mills.

Amanda Reitz, Founder
Their first Adoption Center opened in 2010, allowing them to match more pets with their forever families. In 2016, Amanda's brother, Marcus, joined the team, making HEA the entire Reitz family's venture. That same year, they celebrated the grand opening of their current state-of-the-art Adoption Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, thanks to the gifts of many generous donors and community volunteers. And in 2019, they launched Destination HEA, an innovative overnight guest experience at their Sanctuary. The Reitz family committed to making the welfare of companion animals their life's work. Together, they set out on a journey to create positive and lasting change on companion animal welfare. When you adopt a pet, you save a life. Every animal adopted from HEA allows them to care for even more cats and dogs and place them into loving homes. Since 2006, they've paired more than 5,000 animals with their forever families and helped spay/neuter over 10,000 dogs and cats through their commitment to spay/neuter.
Sarah Swanty, Founder
Executive director and co-founder of Animal Friends Alliance. She began working at a veterinary clinic when she was 17 to explore her plans to become a veterinarian. While pursuing the veterinary track at Colorado State University (bachelor’s degree in zoology) and gaining experience at clinics, she began volunteering at a local animal sanctuary – and that’s when she realized that her true calling lay in animal welfare and rescuing homeless animals. Not long after, she co-founded Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic in 2006. In 2019, she led the merger with Animal House Rescue & Grooming that resulted in Animal Friends Alliance. In that time her clinic has: Adopted 33,995 cats and dogs into loving homes. Spayed and neutered 77,743 dogs and cats captured, neutered, vaccinated and returned over 2,300 community cats
Ernie Cochran, Founder
Peewee's Pet Adoption World and Sanctuary was established in 1995 to help the animals who no one else was willing to - including the sick and the stray. Peewee's presently cares for more than 300 animals every day. Their population consists of dogs, puppies, pigs, goats, and other barn animals. Their operations are accomplished entirely by donations from generous individuals. Their biggest contributor, HEB Food Stores, donates pet food. Peewee’s does not receive any government, city, or federal funding. The volunteers and staff at Peewee's work tirelessly to rehabilitate orphaned pets. They do this to ensure that each of these companions finds their forever families. On average, Peewee's coordinates the distribution of 2,400-3,600 South Texas pets across the United States (annually). Their final destinations of the East Coast, Canada, and the Woodlands offer the promise of wonderful, loving forever homes. Their applications are very strict, long, and verified, so that all the animals are placed in wonderful, loving, forever homes
Anatole France
Our film follows the lives of several different pets and along the way meet tremendous stories of triumph and of tragedy for these rescued animals. We visit municipal shelters, pet stores, non-profit organizations, animal sanctuaries, prisons and follow the stories of individual pet owners to show the radical way animals are treated, as well as the radical ways they change their owners’ lives. With an inspirational tone we call the audience to action, as the solution to the animal crisis begins with each of us.
